Subject: Open items before we can finalize bios and directory work

Hi [Name],

We have been working through attorney research for Pacific West Injury Law and are at a point where we need your input on a few items before we can move forward with bios, directory profiles, and campaign work.

Below is a numbered list. Where possible, a yes/no is fine — otherwise a brief answer is all we need.

Blocking items (work is paused until we hear back)

Section titled “Blocking items (work is paused until we hear back)”
  1. Washington bar admission for Kristopher Helmick. His profiles claim WA bar admission, but we could not verify this through the Washington State Bar Association directory. Is he currently admitted in Washington? If so, can you provide his WSBA number?

  2. Jury and bench trial counts for both attorneys. We need approximate trial counts for Kristopher Helmick and Kirill Mikhaylov to include in bios and directory profiles. Rough numbers are fine (e.g., “50+ jury trials”). Do you have these figures?

  3. Representative case list. Strong bios include notable case results. Do we have permission to reference specific cases by name and outcome? If so, can you send us a list of 5-10 representative cases for each attorney (case caption, charge or claim type, and result)?

  1. Seattle bio page metadata error. The Seattle-area bio page currently has metadata describing Kristopher Helmick as a “Criminal Defense Attorney” rather than a personal injury attorney. This is likely an SEO artifact from a template. Do you want us to flag this for your web team, or would you like us to handle the correction?

  2. Attorney review strategy. Both attorneys have low individual review volume on major platforms (Google, Avvo, etc.). Would you like us to propose a review generation strategy as part of our scope?

Please let us know on items 1-3 as soon as you can — those are holding up bio drafts and directory submissions.

Thank you, [Your Name]

Subject: 5 items we need confirmed before directory and bio work can proceed

Hi [Name],

We have completed the research dossiers for both K. Ryan Helmick and Branden Helmick. Before we can build bios, update directory profiles, or begin outreach, we need confirmation on the following items.

Blocking items (work is paused until we hear back)

Section titled “Blocking items (work is paused until we hear back)”
  1. Branden Helmick — identity and bar status. We were unable to locate Branden Helmick in the State Bar of Nevada directory, on Avvo, Justia, Martindale, or any other public legal directory. We also could not confirm his full legal name or his relationship to K. Ryan Helmick (Kirk Helmick Sr.’s 2020 obituary names only two sons: Kirk Ryan and Kristopher Michael). We need the following before we can create any profiles or bios for Branden:

    • Full legal name
    • Nevada bar number and admission date
    • Current bar status
    • Relationship to K. Ryan Helmick (brother, half-brother, other)
  2. “Lawyer of the Year” award (2024, 2025). This claim appears on multiple directory profiles for K. Ryan Helmick, but we could not identify which organization issued the award. Which organization granted “Lawyer of the Year”? If this cannot be sourced, we recommend removing the claim from marketing materials to avoid credibility risk.

  3. 2013 courthouse incident. Public records (Las Vegas Review-Journal) document K. Ryan Helmick’s 2013 arrest for inadvertently bringing a handgun into the Regional Justice Center, resulting in a misdemeanor plea and fine with no bar discipline. This is findable by anyone researching the firm. Does the client have a prepared response or preferred framing if this comes up during outreach, media coverage, or competitor activity? We are not suggesting it needs to be disclosed proactively — we just need to know how to handle it if it surfaces.

  1. Primary phone number for directory listings. Two numbers appear across your profiles: 702-435-6425 (702-HELMICK, from the firm website) and 725-286-0002 (from the Super Lawyers profile). Which should we use as the primary number across all directories and marketing?

  2. Duplicate Justia and LinkedIn profiles. K. Ryan Helmick currently has two Justia profiles (one under “K. Ryan Helmick,” one under “Kirk Ryan Helmick” — same ID) and two LinkedIn profiles. These should be consolidated to one authoritative profile on each platform. Would you like us to handle the consolidation, or will you manage that internally?

Items 1-3 are blocking all work on Branden’s profiles and some of the credibility-focused content for Ryan. We appreciate a quick turnaround on those.

Thank you, [Your Name]

Subject: 10 confirmation items before we finalize bios and directory work

Hi [Name],

We have completed research dossiers for all six attorneys at the firm. Strong results overall — there is a lot of verified, high-quality material to work with. Before we move to bios and directory optimization, we need your input on the following items.

Blocking items (work is paused until we hear back)

Section titled “Blocking items (work is paused until we hear back)”
  1. Fumo — State Bar complaint (~2021-2022). During research we found references to a State Bar complaint involving Justice Herndon’s comments. We found no public discipline on record, but we need to know the outcome so we can document it accurately and avoid any surprise during outreach. What was the resolution?

  2. Pitaro — American College of Trial Lawyers membership. His Super Lawyers profile lists ACTL membership, but we could not confirm it through the ACTL directory. Is he a current Fellow of the ACTL? If this membership has lapsed or was listed in error, we need to remove it from materials before publishing.

  3. Marcello — correct title. The firm website lists Dustin Marcello as “Senior Associate,” but several directories list him as “Partner.” Which is correct? We need to standardize this across all profiles.

  4. Stone — correct title. Same issue: the firm website says “Associate Attorney,” but Martindale-Hubbell and Lawyers.com list Kendall Stone as “Partner.” Which is accurate?

  5. Miceli — bar number 10151. We sourced this from directory aggregators but have not been able to verify it directly through nvbar.org. Can you confirm bar number 10151 is correct for Michael Miceli?

  6. Marcello — bar number 10134. Same situation. Can you confirm bar number 10134 is correct for Dustin Marcello?

Non-blocking but needed before directory submissions

Section titled “Non-blocking but needed before directory submissions”
  1. Pitaro — tompitaro.com negative site. Are you aware of this site? It is operated by a Steven Barket in Las Vegas and contains personal grievance content. We are not suggesting any specific action right now, but we want to make sure the firm knows it exists before we begin any SEO or reputation work.

  2. Marcello — CNN, Fox News, NBC appearance dates. Multiple directory profiles claim media appearances on these networks, but we could not independently locate specific segments. Can you provide approximate dates or segment topics so we can reference them accurately in bios?

  3. Speraw — Nevada Business Magazine Legal Elite year(s). A tag page for Julie Speraw exists on nevadabusiness.com, but the specific year and category are not confirmed. Which year(s) was she selected, and in which category?

  4. All attorneys — jury and bench trial counts. No public source documents specific trial counts for any of the six attorneys. If the firm tracks these numbers (even approximately), they are valuable for bios and directory profiles. Can you provide estimates for each attorney?

Items 1-6 are blocking bio drafts and directory profile updates. Items 7-10 will strengthen the final materials but will not hold up initial work.
