Use when responding to a journalist query on HARO, Qwoted, Connectively, or similar platforms.
Parameters
Section titled “Parameters”[QUERY TOPIC]— the journalist’s specific question or topic[ATTORNEY NAME]— full name of the attorney[FIRM NAME]— law firm name[CITY, STATE]— market[CREDENTIAL]— the credential most relevant to this query[ANSWER]— direct answer to what the journalist asked (2-4 sentences)[PROOF POINT]— one verifiable fact supporting their expertise
Subject line
Section titled “Subject line”Follow the platform’s subject line format. If freeform:

- Answer their question first — credentials come second
- Match the query exactly. If they asked about car accident settlements in Nevada, don’t pitch criminal defense
- Keep the answer quotable — short sentences a journalist can paste directly
- One credential, one proof point. Not a resume
- Include phone number — journalists on deadline need fast responses
- Do not pitch multiple attorneys in one response unless the query asks for it
